Those include the first Symphony performances of вЂњThe Gospel According to the Other Mary,вЂќ a full-length oratorio based on the New Testament, and вЂњScheherazade.2,вЂќ his recent вЂњdramatic symphonyвЂќ for violin and orchestra, featuring Leila Josefowicz as soloist. Locally, the Adams festivities begin this week with Cal PerformancesвЂ™ presentation of вЂњAvailable Light,вЂќ choreographer Lucinda ChildsвЂ™ 1983 work based on AdamsвЂ™ music, and continue with two weeks devoted to his work at the San Francisco Symphony. вЂњвЂYouвЂ™re going where?
